Kaki Pope was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. Her family moved to Atlanta, Georgia where she graduated from Tucker High School. She studied at Auburn University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, and then Florida State University where she obtained her Masters of Science degree in Audiology. She was offered a position as staff audiologist with Audio Rehab Lab in 1985 and began providing audiological evaluations for ENT physicians, as well as private evaluations, hearing aid consultations, and sales. She purchased Audio Rehab Lab in November of 1988, and has spent the past 35 years proudly cultivating her practice. Ms. Pope’s mission has been to provide an innovative hearing healthcare facility that focuses on state of the art technology and the direct care of hearing impaired individuals. She attends annual conferences and participates in regular online training to bolster her knowledge and continue to provide expert guidance to her patients. She has had the honor and privilege of providing hearing aid benefits and care to over 8,000 patients over the span of her 38 year career. She also dedicates herself to giving back to the community. She personally devotes one day each month to visiting residents of a local retirement community to provide services to patients with mobility issues. Audio Rehab Lab also hosts an annual drive for vital local charities, some of which include Big Bend Hospice, The Alzheimer’s Project, and Refuge House Inc. Her office frequently supports Elder Care Services and sponsors Christmas gifts for two seniors in need every year. In partnership with FSU’s Speech and Hearing clinic, Audio Rehab Lab also regularly collects hearing aids and supplies that are donated to their Guatemala Aid trip. Ms. Pope has volunteered with her Chi Omega local chapter as an advisor multiple times, and has also been involved with Rotary Club. She was nominated for and won Reader’s Choice Awards Best Audiologist in 2021 and was honored as a finalist in 2022. Ms. Pope was also recently awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award from the College of Communication and Information at Florida State University in honor of her professional accomplishments in audiology and her civic contributions to the community.

She enjoys nature walks, container gardening, historical biographies, and movies. She and her husband Andre Pavlov enjoy a lovely blended family of 5 adult children ranging in ages from 23-34. She takes great pride in being able to benefit her community through her work, and she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her beloved miniature poodle “Lucy”.
